Huawei Ascend D1 Q: Specs of quad-core smartphone

Huawei is supposed to launch its quad-core Ascend D1 Q Smartphone at MWC 2012. This news has been leaked by Huawei chairman, Yu Chengdong on the profile page. One of the Japanese Blog of Mobile revealed that this phone is going to be company’s first Diamond series phone with quad-core processor. Until now it is not confirmed that Tegra 3 processor is going to be used in the phone. This will be known by the release of Ascend D1 Q at MWC in Barcelona. Soon we will see many such smartphones at MWC 2012 from every major smartphone manufacturers. Though Chinese manufacturer Huawei is not much known like HTC, Motorola, Samsung and many others, but has been one of the top 4 Android phone makers. This time Huawei will give equal competition to others by launching this quad-core phone.

 Specs of quad-core smartphone

All the features of the phone are not revealed yet. But some of the specifications are known. D1 Q is supposed to be the Diamond series phone of Huawei because of its first release, Ascend P1 S which was referred as Platinum series phone. Well, Ascend P1 S contained 1.5GHz dual-core processor so this one is expected to be a quad-core. This device will be the latest flagship device from the company. For more details, we need to wait till February end.

Being a Diamond series phone Ascend D1 Q can be expected to be at least as advanced as the Huawei Ascend P1 S introduced at CES. Ascend P1 S was really an appreciable Smartphone that possessed the latest Android 4.0 ICS OS, slim body and a super AMOLED touch screen. So we can hope that Ascend D1 Q will be upgraded with more features and give the commendable results.
