HTC Desire V: Specs and Features of dual-SIM phone with Android 4.0

HTC has unveiled its first Dual-SIM smartphone named ‘Desire V’ for Asian and European markets. It is all set to launch in Ukraine by the month of July and there is an expectation that, HTC Desire V will soon hit the Indian markets too. The upcoming Desire V will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4. It will have a new version of HTC’s custom user interface. At present, there is no news about the pricing details for India, but it is about to arrive first in Ukraine at the price of 3,800 грн, which is approximately around $470.

The HTC Desire V will have an impressive WVGA touchscreen display of 4 inch with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device will be powered by 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor, 512 MB RAM, Adreno 200 graphics, and a 5MP rear snapper with LED flash. However, the device will not have any front facing camera. The HTC Desire V will have Beats Audio technology to enhance the audio experience. The phone will offer 4GB internal storage along with microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The connectivity features of HTC Desire V are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, GPS / AGPS, micro-USB, 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth v4.0. The handset will measure 118.5mm x 62.3mm x 9.3mm and weigh about 114gms. The device will have a powerful battery with a capacity of 1650 mAh. A 25GB of storage through Dropbox storage is applicable for 2 years. The phone may be available in two colors, black and white. Other features of Desire V include music player, youtube player, etc.
