Lots of rumours about HTC Accord are already hitting the web. Recently, the details of this Windows Phone 8-powered handset have been leaked on Twitter before its official launch. The details are leaked by XDA Developer member, Football4PDA. They have posted a photos and specifications of the device on Twitter account named "football". According to Football4PDA, HTC Accord will be known as “8X”. The HTC 8X is the first Windows based phone of the company. The device is expected to launch officially on 19th September through HTC’s special media event in New York.
HTC 8X will use a feature 4.3-inch 720p high-definition capacitive touchscreen display. It will be powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM which makes the device fast enough. There will be 8-megapixel camera & rear camera with an f/2.0 lens, LED flash, 1080p HD video recording & auto focus as well as a front-facing camera which can capture 1080p HD video thanks to super-wide angle lens. It will come with 16GB internal memory which can be expanded through a microSD card.
The device will have built-in Beats Audio technology just like a high-end HTC creation and use microSIM similar to the HTC One X. Connectivity features of the device will include Near Field Communications (NFC) technology, 3.5mm audio socket, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, microUSB port and GPS.
