Handyscope works similar to dermatascope. The "Handyscope" can be easily plugged in your iPhone and uses application (available on Apple online store) uses a polarizing light to detect whether a mole is cancerous.
Handyscope is made by German-based firm FotoFinder. The device then takes a photo and sends it to a doctor for inspection. And these captured images can even be uploaded to a second opinion service where world-renowned specialists can weigh in with their view. |
