Google has created its own official Twitter account for its Play Store service. Google Play is an online store for Android applications, books, magazines, movies, games, music and lots more. Google has opened the twitter account, so that it can reach out to its app store users. Twitter is a well-known social networking site where one can find millions of registered users and Google has taken the right decision by joining Twitter. The first tweet on Google Play states that the account will be used specially for promotions, updates and exclusive content from the Play Store.

At present, there are approximately more than 25,000 followers for Google Play on Twitter and the number of followers is expected to rise in the future. To get the latest information from the Play Store, click on ‘follow’ at the official account of Google Play on Twitter. The Android users can easily access Twitter from their device, and in case if the device does not feature Twitter, the users will have to download the application from the Google Play Store.
