AT&T and Samsung have introduced Galaxy Note Smartphone-slash-tablet named Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD at CES 2012. The superphone is expected to come in the market within few months and hit the market as it is the latest result of AT&T and Samsung collaboration. The device will come with 4G LTE variant and other pretty substantial specs. The Galaxy S II Skyrocket is very similar in design to other Galaxy S-II phones and highly functional Smartphone. Image source: phonedog.com Operating system and Display The Skyrocket runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and 4G LTE support for high speed data access. It is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. The new Galaxy S-II HD version has a larger, more pixel-dense display but keeps the slim dimensions. The phone is 9.27mm thick and has a spacious 4.65 inch HD super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Connectivity and Battery In terms of connectivity, it has GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HDMI, and micro USB port. The phone is loaded with a removable battery that offers 7 hours of talk time and 10.4 days standby time. Other features It is packed with 8MP camera with LED flash with Full HD 1080p video capturing, 2MP front-facing shooter for video calling, GPS, EDGE, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB).
