Back in the beginning of September, Samsung finally announced the much-awaited and hyped operators’ variants of the Samsung Galaxy S II. The handset is powered by Google's Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" platform. AT&T also confirmed the pricing on its Galaxy S II variant and it’s going to cost you $199 on a new two-year contract which isn’t surprising in the slightest. According to AT&T, its Samsung Galaxy S2 is the thinnest, and also the fastest with the 4G HSPA+ connectivity. The Galaxy S II comes packed with a dual-core, 1.2GHz processor; 16GB of storage; a 4.3-inch touchscreen; and a pair of cameras, including a rear-facing one that’s 8MP. |
