The Acer CloudMobile, an android smartphone that unveiled in February during the Mobile World Congress 2012, is finally available for pre-order in UK. Its details were leaked prior to MWC 2012 when it won the iF Design Award. The device is also referred as ‘Titane’. The handset was expected to be available in stores this August; however it has been delayed for a short interval. Now the device can be pre-ordered from Expansys, an online retailer. It has been priced £284.99 or around $350 US dollars.
The CloudMobile will be coming with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It sports a 4.3 inch touchscreen display with 720p HD resolution. On the memory side, it includes 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage. It supports microSD card for memory expansion up to 32 GB. The 8 mega pixel rear facing camera comes with LED flash and autofocus. It also supports HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, DLNA, GPS and Dolby Sound technology. Expansys may start the shipping of the smartphone on September 5, so in just over three weeks. The smartphone may also get a Jelly Bean upgrade later.
