Mercedes-Benz Unveiling Luxury Helicopter

EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter had made its world debut on 17th May, 2011 in Geneva at the 2011 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE). This high-end, multi-purpose helicopter is a joint collaboration of Mercedes-Benz and Eurocopter. This is the 1st model of their high-end helicopter series. Mercedes-Benz designers have designed the interior of EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter at Advanced Design Studio in Italy, which was inspired by German automaker's range of high-end luxury vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz designers are famous for its wonderful versatility and superb materials. The interior design of this helicopter completes the expectations in terms of luxury, elegance and comfort. Eye-attracting wooden parts are used to make interior. This high-end helicopter is specially made for private travel and luxury class business. EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style features elegant woods, deluxe materials and ambient cabin lighting which can be adjusted to different colours and brightness settings. It also features multi-function boxes with different equipment options.

This twin-engine helicopter features all the adornments that are expected from an S-class and has seat for 4 to 8 people. There is also an entertainment system, wooden flooring and refrigerator for the back seats. It contains flexible seat plan so there is more space for luggage. Due to several attachment points on the floor and walls multi-purpose storage can be made. EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter comes with Eurocopter’s latest developments in cockpit design, hingeless rotor system, avionics and improved rotor blades which decrease the level of sound and vibration. EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter, sold for $6 million euros ($8.58 million) is set to be delivered for the 1st time to an anonymous European customer, as per the Hollywood Reporter.
