iPad Apps Roundup: Essential Productivity and Utility Apps

Since the release of the Apple iPad there has been an influx of great apps designed specifically for the device, opposed to the ports and scaled up versions of iPhone apps that we seen early on. With the iPad being touted by many as more of a productivity device for everyone from business men to IT professionals, opposed to the casual users that make up the majority of iPhone users, there are more great productivity and utility apps then ever before.

This is the reason why we wanted to take some time today to outline some of the better productivity apps and utilities available on the App Store.

Wolfram Alpha for iPhone: ($2)- This app used to be $50 when it was only available for the iPhone and then wasn’t much value when compared to the Wolfram website. However, an updated iPad version provides much more functionality and at $2 is a must for anyone that finds themselves using the search engine/calculator often.
