Recently, one major threat has challenged the whole world. Worldwide all the countries want to defeat this viral challenge and for that a meeting was held at Geneva on Thursday by the countries. In this meeting 6,600 worldwide vaccine makers and other experts came there to made discussion and took some decision over it. At least 33 countries reported more than 6,600 cases of swine flu, with 70 deaths worldwide as of Thursday. The figures are based on tallies provided by national governments and WHO. All Pharmaceutical companies are ready to making a swine flu vaccine but there questions arises that How much should be produced? How will it be distributed? Who should get it? It is because flu vaccine companies can make only one at a time like seasonal flu vaccine or pandemic vaccine. Production takes months and it’s impossible to change in middle if any mistakes arise by health officials. WHO's flu chief gave answer to question and recommend to manufacturers that they switch from a seasonal vaccine and works against the epidemic strain. David Fedson who is a vaccines expert and former professor of medicine at the University of Virginia said that it’s an unavoidable conclusion and if we don’t invest in an H1N1 vaccine so then it’s possibly we could have a re-emergence of this virus in form of meek, moderate and calamitous after that we would have enormously zero. Other hand health officials aren’t sure about the how much fatal swine flu is and near future how much need the vaccine of seasonal flu vaccine or swine flu vaccine. But WHO has estimated that every year up to 2 billion doses of swine flu vaccine could be produced, though the first batch wouldn't be available for four to six months. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is currently working on a "seed stock" to make the vaccine; it should be ready by next couple of weeks and will be distributed worldwide. Fukuda said that it is an infection by which estimated to kill hundreds of thousands of people each year around the world. Sanofi Pasteur is world’s biggest vaccine producer said that it just waiting the green signal from WHO for making swine flu vaccine. Many rich nations like Britain, Canada, Denmark, France, Switzerland and the United States signed deals with vaccine manufacturer for guaranteed epidemic vaccines. For more information click here.
