Treatment for Angina

Angina is a kind of pain or discomfort, which occurs in the chest area when the muscles of the heart do not get the right amount of blood, which they require. The person who is undergoing the angina pain will feel a lot of pain and pressure in the arms, shoulders, back, neck as well as jaw. The onset of angina can also be the first sign of an impending heart attack and it is essential that it is treated right away. The pain, which is experienced during angina, is similar to the pain of muscle cramps, which are experienced by a person who is doing some kind of exercise.

Reasons for occurrence of angina

When the heart does not receive the complete amount of oxygen, which it requires from the blood for its regular everyday functions, it results in angina.
