Possible cure for HIV by the research on calanolide compound from bintangor tree is currently at the final stage of its clinical tryouts. A man has been cured from HIV infection that is reported by researchers in Germany. There may be hope to find an infallible cure in those (33.3 million people worldwide), who live with HIV/AIDS after this innovative scientific discovery. An HIV-positive man, Timothy Ray Brown has been cured recently, after undergoing a stem cell transplant that is believed by the doctors. U.S. citizen, Timothy Ray Brown is living in Berlin and suffering from HIV and acute myeloid leukemia, a cancer of the immune system. He went at Charite-University Medicine Berlin for the treatment of leukemia. He underwent chemotherapy, which was followed by a bone marrow transplant during the treatment. His own immune system is wiping out with high-dose chemotherapy and radiation after a stem-cell transplant was giving to him in Feb 2007. These immature stem cells can mature into blood cells. After over three years of the treatment, he underwent many tests but no signs were found of HIV infection. This apparent amazing recovery from HIV is suspected the cause of a combination of chemotherapy and the bone marrow transplant from a person with the rare mutation. But according to the doctors, that treatment could be difficult and it is still far from a proven cure. In Northern and Western Europe, only 1 of every 100 Caucasians has the special mutation that donor of Brown transplant carried and Brown is the only patient, who has undergone this treatment.
