Inflammation of lungs is medically known as Pneumonia. It is a severe infectious disease, sometimes as serious as to become fatal, when both the lungs are affected.
Symptoms :
Pneumonia has humble beginnings, with a cold or a sore throat. Shivering, chillness and fever follow, apart from difficulty in breathing, acute pain in the chest. Other symptoms include cough with pink sputum, which turns brownish later. In children, pneumonia is likely to cause intense fever and convulsions.
