Octopus is a wonderful combination of intelligence, tremendous manipulative power, curiosity, and strength. The guest of honor aquarium's Kids Corner octopus tank had swum to the top of the housing removed and recycling system valve, flooding the area with about 200 gallons of seawater. Nick Fash the aquarium education specialist said Octopus had grabbed the tube that pulls out the water and caused it to spray outside the tank. octopus is about the size of a human forearm and its appendages are extended, floated lazily in the water that remained in its tank. Aquarium spokeswoman Randi Parent says no sea life was damaged by flooding, but the new ecologically designed floor can be damaged by water.
