Free list of low cholesterol foods

Hello friends I give list of low cholesterol foods. We have to maintain the correct level of cholesterol in the body because certain level of cholesterol in the body plays a vital role in the creation of tissue and cells. And too much cholesterol can increase the risk of a stroke and associated coronary diseases.

Free list of low cholesterol foods

There are several foods which do not contain any cholesterol. Some foods are low cholesterol foods but animal foods and dairy products have much cholesterol.

Low Cholesterol Food means 20 milligram or less cholesterol and 2 g or less saturated fat.

A free list low cholesterol foods should contain healthy foods such as:

  • fresh fruits and fresh vegetables,
  • fish, lean meat portions,
  • dry beans,
  • whole grains,
  • low-fat or skim milk(fatless) and cheese,

How to maintain daily diet with low calories food?

1. Include Fruit and vegetables in your daily diet that include essential vitamins and minerals, are rich in fiber, and contain no cholesterol at all.

2. Always try to choose food that has not been fried in oil or have a breadcrumb coating.

3. The healthiest way to prepare meat is by broiling, baking, grilling, or roasting. Don't allow the meat to remain in its own juice but use a rack to drain fat.

4. Use Olive oil and canola oil as they are high in unsaturated fats and thus healthier oils. These should be used for cooking and salad dressings. 

5. Eat lean meats such as chicken and turkey are a healthier option than red meats such as beef and goat. However giving up meat altogether is the best option. 

6. Use low fat or skimmed milk and dairy products.

7. High intake of carbohydrates also increases cholesterol so use refined flour instead of whole grain flour.

butter, eggs, ice-cream, cream, cheese, whole milk dairy products, shrimp, organ meats like kidney and brain, duck, goose, and all foods containing saturated fats and oils such as beef, veal, egg yolks, fried food, fast food items, coconut, commercially baked foods, processed meat, palm oil, margarine, and ice-cream.
