Chemical Calories in Shampoo could make you fat

Everyone agree that balanced diet and exercise is solution to avoid obesity but as per new study there are also other factors which play important role i.e. the use of beauty products. The study was done by researchers from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. They found that chemical substances which are used in beauty products can cause weight gain. Researchers said that the compound, phthalates contained in almost 70% shampoos, soaps and cosmetics, is 'endocrine disruptors' and must be avoided wherever possible.

Chemicals used in beauty products damage the system of the body which controls the weight naturally. Endocrine disruptors imitate the hormones effects and affect the glands’ work that produces them. Researchers also informed the dangers of Bisphenol-A which is present in packaging containers. 330 children were involved in the study. As per researchers, these chemicals play a little part in obesity and it can be avoided by using beauty products that are organic or fragrance-free.
