As we age, numerous aspects of our body begin to deteriorate, including our mental as well as physical capacities. One area that is not given as much thought but is a fact of aging is the gradual decline of our immune systems, a process known as immunosenescence. While keeping our mind and body active can go long way to maintaining their good standing, proper nutrition is important for optimal immune health.
