Appendicitis is a common intestinal disorder in which the apex gets swollen or inflamed with pus due to primary obstruction of the appendix lumen. This inflammation of the appendix will appear like a small tube shaped tissue sac attached to the lower end of the large intestine. Appendicitis may be mild or severe and the treatments are processed accordingly.
