Athletes Foot Causes and Home Remedies

Athlete’s foot or Tenia Pedis is the fungal infection on the skin especially the feet skin. This disease is very common in places with warm climatic conditions as the people there will have excessive sweating. This condition affects the region amidst the toe fingers. It is must to take steps initially to avoid the adverse effects of this contagious skin disease.

Causes:

Athlete’s foot is rooted due to the following:

1. Wearing fungal infected shoes and socks
2. Touching infected pet animals
3. Wet and dirty toes and fingers

Symptoms:

The most well known symptoms of athlete’s foot are:

  • Bad odor from the toe
  • Reddened scales on the toe.
  • Burning sensation, blisters, inflammation, itching between the leg fingers.
