Ford EcoSport: Specs & Photos

The Ford EcoSport has been unveiled at Beijing Auto show 2012. Ford EcoSport is a low-priced and economical crossover as well as designed as a worldwide fuel-efficient car for markets such as China, India, Thailand and South America. It will contain a conventional headlight assembly and a spare wheel cover that makes it differ from Delhi Expo concept. It will come with funky looks, plenty of room, high driving position and a modern cabin full of toys. This car will be featured with many innovative features like Smart Keyless Entry, Ford Power Start, and a cooled bin in the glovebox. It will also receive Ford SYNC driver connect system with voice control.

It is expected that Ford EcoSport comes with two petrol engines, such as an all-new 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine and a 1.5L Ti-VCT engine. As this car is vastly fuel efficient, the 1.0 liter will possibly become the most popular powertrain for this car because 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine will generate 120 PS power and a peak torque of 170 Nm plus super low Co2 levels of 140 g/km. The EcoSport is expected to come with many safety features, such as Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Electronic Stability Program, as well as side curtain airbags and dual front airbags.

The EcoSport will come with a range of driver-assist features such as Hill Launch Assist and Rear Parking sensors to take the stress out of driving. Ford EcoSport’s interior will make you fall in love with this car. Ford EcoSport will also contain power-assisted steering (EPAS). All-new Ford Ecosport will contain each feature of the next generation to make it more powerful.
