Images of the refreshed Mazda MX-5 have been recently released online that show the gentle styling updates. The MX-5 / Miata became the only true sports car of the Japanese company after the end of production of the rotary-powered RX-8. 2013 Mazda MX-5 NC3 is lighter, smaller and sportier car. At present, Mazda desires to provide the MX-5 NC another extension to life with a second facelift that has been unveiled through Japanese dealership brochure that made its way online. It is shown in the images that the codename of this new car is NC3 and it comes in a new designed front bumper containing a five-point grille with a more curved upper part and re-shaped fog-lamp surrounds, as well as black bezels for the headlamps. Image source: carscoop.blogspot.com It is seen in the smaller secondary image that this car also comes with an active-hood/pedestrian-safe hood for decreasing damages in car-pedestrian accidents. It also seems that innovative alloy wheels are planned and a fresh collection of exterior colors are added by Mazda. A newly designed dashboard cowl and a blacked-out instrument panel gauges are included in the rear-wheel drive roadster model for its interior. It is expected that more changes to the NC3 have been made by Mazda. The new-look car will contain reshaped fog light / auxiliary air inlets. There is no information of other updates, either inside or under the hood. For more photos of 2013 Mazda MX-5 NC3, visit here: forums.vwvortex.com |
