Zync Z999 plus: Specs, Price & Features of Android ICS tablet

Zync Z-999 plus is the new Android tablet launched by Zync. It is the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tab of the company and it is the successor to Zync Z-990 plus that was launched in the previous month. The device sports a 7 inch TFT capacitive touch screen display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It comes with Mali 400 for 3D graphics support. The tab measures 192.5 x 121.35 x 12.2 mm and weighs 340 grams.

It features a 1.5 GHz single-core ARM Cortex 8 processor with 512MB RAM. It has 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB through microSD card. It allows voice calling through a SIM card slot and also has 3G data connectivity. It comes with a 2MP rear-facing camera and 0.3 MP front facing camera. Apps like iBibo, movie player, BBC news, Browser, MSN, Google Play Store, Google Maps, Facebook, Skype, Whatsapp Messegner have been preinstalled on the device. The connectivity features include, HDMI port, Micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, microphone, 3G, Bluetooth v2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11n.

The Zync Z999 plus comes packed with a 4200 mAh battery and a keyboard support is also available for purchase separately. Supported Video formats include MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, DAT, MOV, VOB, MPEG, MPG, PMP, FLV and3GP. Audio formats include WMA, MP3, APE, AAC, FLAC and AC3. It has been equipped with Image editor, Document editor and Flash support. This tab is available in 22 states across India also it can be bought through various e-commerce sites like Snapdeal, Flipkart, Indiatimes, HomeShop18, eBay, LetsBuy and Infibeam. This latest Zync tab carries a price tag of Rs. 11,990.
