Samsung Galaxy Player coming at CES 2011 to compete iPod Touch

A new 4-inch screen Galaxy Player will be launched by Samsung at CES 2011 (Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas) next week. On monday, Samsung said that it planned to launch the Galaxy Player to compete with Apple iPod Touch. A 4-inch capacitive multi-touch SLCD (Super LCD) display with an 800×480 pixel resolution, a 3.2 mega pixel primary camera on the back and a secondary VGA camera on the front for making video calls, over VOIP will be included in the new Samsung Galaxy Player.

Lots of techs are shared by the Galaxy Player with its Samsung brand-mate, the Galaxy Tab, the Android 2.2 operating system is being run in both and front- and rear-facing cameras are being brandished in both Samsung brand-mates. The Galaxy Player comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and SD card slot. Resembling the iPod touch, it will come in 3 storage capacities such as 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. Also, Samsung Galaxy Player will be capable of HD video playback.

A 1GHz CPU will be featured in the new Galaxy Player. It also contains a 1200mAh battery to provide power to both cameras. People, who want all the features of Samsung Galaxy Tab, but very short size that can be put in a pocket, the new Galaxy Player would be the perfect device. Though, price of Galaxy Player has not been announced by Samsung.
