At the MWC 2012 event, Samsung unveiled its latest media player called as Samsung Galaxy Player 70 Plus. The device available in two versions bifurcated on 16 GB or 32 GB of storage capacity. The latest media player has launched in Korea on March 05, 2012. In the South Korea, the device will be come with a price tag of 399,000 Won which is around 360 dollars for the 16GB model and 469,000 Won which is around 420 dollars for the 32GB model. The Samsung Galaxy Player 70 Plus is a Multi Format Video and Audio Player. The gadget is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core Processor and runs on an Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Note that it is the first media player with a dual core processor. It boasts a 5 inch WVGA TFT Capacitive Multi Touchscreen Display with a rear facing 5 megapixel camera and a VGA front camera. A memory card slot is provided with device which allows expanding the memory up to 32GB. It also allows receiving of Korean terrestrial TV transmissions telecast over T-DMB. The dimension of the device is 78.2x141.3x11.9 mm and weighs around 186 grams. It includes a 2500 mAH battery that offers an audio playback time of up to 60 hours and a video playback time of up to 8 hours. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth v3.0 as connectivity options. It also flaunts USB v2.0 port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. |
