Reliance Communications, the top 3G telecom service provider in India launched its upgraded version of Android tablet named Reliance 3G Tab V9A on 19th July. This tablet is actually the updated version of Reliance 3G Tab ZTE V9A that was launched last year in August 2011. The Tab V9A runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The tablet comes with a number of enhanced features and it seems that Tab V9A will prove better than its old version. It is offered at 350 Reliance Stores exclusively at a price tag of Rs. 14,999 with attractive tariff plans. The company is offering added benefits of Rs 6250 with every new purchase of Reliance 3G Tab V9A. Reliance 3G Tab V9A sports 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The tablet is equipped with 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card slot. It has a 3 Megapixel camera on the rear side and VGA camera in the front for video calling. The device is powered by 1.4 GHz single core processor. Reliance 3G Tab V9A has a 3400mAh battery that gives 300 Hours standby time or 5.5 Hours of backup playing video. The tablet has a dimension of 192.8 x 121.8x 12.75 mm and it weighs 402 grams. The tab has a built-in 3G support with a network capability of HSUPA 5.76 Mbps & HSDPA 14.4 Mbps. The connectivity features of Tab V9A are Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and one micro USB v2.0 port. Besides these features, the tablet also offers Digital Compass, G-Sensor, light sensor along with A-GPS, Proximity Sensor and built-in Google Maps. It provides pre-loaded services like ‘Documents To Go’ that supports Power point, PDF, Excel and Word. The apps offered will include Reliance World Online, BigFlix, Reliance TV, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Gmail and Orkut. Reliance 3G Tab V9A also supports the Google Play Store. |
