Orange - Smartphone retailer and network provider has announced its first own branded tablet called ‘Orange Tahiti’ which will be available in the United Kingdom soon. The new Orange tablet will come with interesting features and looks like Huawei’s mediapad. The Orange Tahiti is a stylish and lightweight Android tablet with a great quality screen which will help to get multimedia content easily. The tablet runs on the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with 512MB of RAM. The lightweight 390 gram slate is packed with 7-inch multi-touch LCD touch screen, 5 megapixels rear-facing Camera, A-GPS and 8GB of internal memory. Apart from this, it offers Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, EDR, 3G networks as a connectivity options. The tablet will be available on a two-year data plan for a £69.99 initial fee, followed by a monthly charge of £25 for a 2GB data bundle which includes 1GB of peak data use and another 1GB of off-peak downloading. The Orange Tahiti Tablet offers battery life of up to 6 hours. |
