A Windows tablet will be launched in next summer by the cell-phone maker, Nokia. As per Nokia France head, Paul Amsellem, a tablet that will run on Window 8 will be available in June 2012. According to an interview of CEO Stephen Elop, the Nokia's Windows phones are featured with Microsoft's interface and operating system. The use of Microsoft Windows 8 for tablets could be a wonderful chance for the Nokia Company however up till now, any specific launch plans have not been revealed by the company. This Window Tablet will compete with Apple's iPad. As per Amsellem, the Nokia Company is planning to increase its lineup of Windows Phone handsets that contain the Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 at this time. These both handsets are already available at outside of Australia and will be available locally sometime in 2012. As per Nokia executive, Nokia Company planned higher end Lumia phones in the development of company's Windows Phone. According to the Amsellem, it is a bit equal to the BMW 5 Series and a full range with a 7 Series and 3 Series will be available soon. Nokia Company made a lot of low-end feature phones and becomes one of the World’s biggest cell phone makers. But place of Nokia in the marketplace has gradually dropped as the high-end Android handsets and iPhone grabbed consumers more in the past some years. Last month, two sleek new Microsoft Windows phones were revealed by Nokia in time for Christmas, its first step in fightback against Google and Apple. |
