Nikon D3200: All about Nikon's Entry-Level DSLR Camera

Nikon has unveiled an entry level DSLR Camera called, Nikon D3200, on 18th of April, 2012. The Nikon D3200 will have an extremely compact and lightweight body that is loaded with the latest digital SLR camera functions. It will be equipped with a 24.2 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor which guarantees high quality photos and full HD 1080p movies in any light. The D3200 will have the capacity to shoot 1080p video at 24 fps and 30 fps with HDMI output. Moreover, Nikon will add a 3.5mm microphone-in port for audio options along with a built-in mono microphone. A new Expeed 3 image processor will add extra frame per second (up to 4 fps) to the camera's burst mode.

The Nikon D3200 will use an 11-point autofocus system to provide continuous autofocus throughout the video recording. It will be fixed with a 3-inch LCD screen with 921k-dots of resolution in addition to an optical viewfinder. Nikon will also offer an optional accessory called wireless adapter. Using wireless adapter, users will be able to transfer files wirelessly from the camera to Android tablets or phones using free app. Photographers can also use this app to trigger the shutter remotely. To help the beginners, Nikon will include a Guide Mode consisting manual controls, shooting modes, and tutorials for shot composition.

The Nikon D3200 will be incorporated with 3D-tracking ability and a full-color RGB sensor that offers great colour and focusing ability. Moreover, D3200 will also include a Scene Recognition System along with the 3D Colour Matrix Metering II system to recognize brightness and color and select the best exposure, white balance, autofocus, and flash settings automatically. This amazing camera will be available in two colors: black and red. It is expected that the camera along with AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR image stabilization lens will enter the market by the end of April 2012 for a retail price of $699.95. Moreover, the optional accessory, WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, will be available in late May 2012 for $59.95.
