NEC is presenting its latest Windows 7 Slate or Tablet for Japanese gadget lovers. The new tablet model named as VersaPro VZ. This tablet is specially designed for corporate users as it will run on Windows 7 Professional operating system. It is expected to arrive in the market with an approximate price of 200,000 Yen. Till now, there is no word from NEC regarding the availability of VersaPro VZ on worldwide market. Even though, the device is large having a 12 inch screen, it weighs 952g only. The light weight factor will ensure easy handling of the tablet.
The NEC VersaPro VZ will be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Intel Celeron 857 processor with an Intel integrated graphic. It will support a 12.1-inch touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA) of resolution. The capacitive screen will support both touch and pen. Its storage capacity is also notable. It will have 2GB of RAM plus 64GB of flash storage giving much faster data transfers than conventional hard drives. Other features include Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi connection to access internet, and optional modem for use in mobile networks.
