Microsoft's Xbox 720 is expected to be launched in 2013, as per new reports. According to some sources of Video game website, Xbox 720 will be launched at the E3 gaming expo in June 2013. The next Xbox console, called as Xbox 3, Xbox 720 or Xbox Next, is in the works, and it will make a bit impact on the industry. Before pushing the next console in 2013, Microsoft is expected to focus more on the Kinect, Xbox 360, and Windows Phone for the subsequently two holiday seasons. As per Gamasutra, though Don Conyer, who have helped in bringing you the Xbox and Xbox 360, would not be leading the development of this new console. General Manager of the entertainment division of Microsoft, Don Conyer was the project lead on both of Microsoft's game consoles. He is also the one behind a unified design for the system and Xbox Live developments. However, for this new system Emma Williams will be taking the lead in place of Don Conyer. Williams is not unfamiliar to the Xbox, she controlled the team that generated the newest Xbox interface update. There is no clue that Conyer will be departing Microsoft or just taking on a diverse function. It is also expected that the next-generation games console will arrive packed with the mooted Kinect 2 gaming peripheral. Microsoft’s next generation gaming console, the Xbox 720 is advertised in the trailer for new film "Real Steel." Hugh Jackman and gamers are featured in this film; they immediately spotted the advertisement for the new system after it debuted. Real Steel movie was released on October 7 and the trailer of Xbox 720 ad is about 40 seconds in the film. |
