Maruti 800 production Stopped

After 25 years long venture with indian roads maruthi suzuki 800 and maruti omni (Legend Car of India) is said to be stopped marketing and retire in 11 major cities, because of new emission rules maruti is not compliant . "Once Euro-IV emission norms are applied across the country, which is likely to happen around 2015-16, then M800 and Omni may not be a saleable product." Bhargava said sales of Maruti 800 and Maruti Omni would stop next year in 11 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore,TATA Nano also affect Maruti 800 and Omni.

make suitable changes in maruti 800 in accordance to Euro IV

hi sirs to let the maruti 800 users happy for ever make some changes in maruti 800 so that it can be made equal to norms of Euro IV. what is the fault of those who have already bought new maruti in the year 2000. who will be facing passing of their cars in the year 2015. thanx tejinder (chandigarh)

I strongly belive Maruti should continue its production for Maruti 800, as its the icon for Maruti India
