Karbonn Agnee tablet coming soon with 3G and Android 4.0

After the launch of three smartphones last week, Karbonn Mobiles have announced the first Made in India 3G tablet named Karbonn Agnee. As per the reports, the tablet has been developed by Karbonn in partnership with the Innominds Technologies. The device is mainly designed to provide education solutions and wide-ranging platform to the students and faculty. It is anticipated that the tablet will be available by November. Though there is no word on the pricing of the device, it is estimated that Agnee will be offered at an approximate price tag of Rs 10, 000.

The Karbonn Angee will sport a 7 inch WVGA display with a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels. The QRD (Qualcomm Reference Design) based tablet will support 22 Indian languages and it will come preloaded with a host of Indian related contents. Agnee will run on Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich Operating System. It will be powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 512MB of RAM. The tablet will have a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and it will support video recording up to 720p.

The Karbonn Angee will be equipped with a powerful and strong battery of Li-Polymer 4,000 mAh. It will have an internal storage of 4GB. The device will feature 3G and voice-calling via normal SIM card too. Plus, for connectivity option there will be Bluetooth, 3G HSPA, USB and Wi-Fi. The tablet will feature applications like Karbonn Smart games, ET apps, TOI, Smart Browser and Facebook.
