India’s best IT World Pvt. Ltd, iBall has added one more choice in the budget tablet market as iBall has officially launched its first Android tablet named iBall Slide for quite reasonable price of Rs 13,995 according to the Indian market. There are other tablets like Reliance 3G Tab, Beetel Magiq, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Mercury mTab in the market and this would be the fourth tablet that will be launched between Rs 10,000 - 15,000 category for general Indians in the upcoming days. The best thing is that a famous bollywood super star Hrithik Roshan became a brand Ambassador to start the promotion of iBall Company for iBall Slide.

iBall Slide introduced new feature such as USB Host and on the go (OTG) Port that helps to copy the data directly from the pen. You can also connect mouse or keyboard with the help of USB host port for the quick work and certainly the product can be attached to the PC. The Slide will be pre-loaded with apps like “Documents to go” for PDF’s and Microsoft office documents for business convenience.

iBall Slide is powered by 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. In terms of connectivity, iBall Slide include Wi-Fi, 3G Dongle Support, Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, Web browser, Social networking, etc. The tablet is powered by a 4400 mAh battery that gives music playback of 6.5 hours and video of 5 hours. It sports 7 inch touch screen with multi touch option which makes it the best in the business and equipped with all major 3D games (including the Angry Birds 3D). Additionally, iBall Slide has a 2 megapixel front camera and HDMI output, also it is packed with 8GB built-in memory which can be expanded up to 32GB. Overall iBall Slide is obviously not the first tablet, but due to rich in entertainment features it is among the better ones.

  • No back camera (not confirmed)
  • More Expensive
  • Looks bulky and not so much thin compared to other tablets in that range
  • No integrated 3G for this tablet, you need to buy separate dongle means data card to get 3G experience
