China’s multinational telecom Company, Huawei has launched world’s first 7-inch Android 3.2 tablet, Media Pad in June 2011. Huawei MediaPad runs on Android 3.2 Operating system (customize version). “MediaPad” is Huawei’s first Honeycomb tablet in India which will be pre-loaded with e-books of Chetan bhagat’s books. The weight of new tablet phone is 390g and thickness is 10.5mm. It is a stylish and high-performing tablet coming soon in India. MediaPad features 7 inch IPS Multi-touch display, Android 3.2 OS, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, and 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor. The battery type is Li-polymer, 4100 mAh that provides battery life 6 hours while working. The other features includes 8 GB internal storage capacity (expandable up to 32 GB through microSD slot card), GPRS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR stereo connectivity, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB 2.0, and A-GPS. Contact search can be possible by typing first and last name in MediaPad. Huawei MediaPad has 10.3 Adobe flash player compatibility, Facebook, Twitter, Gtalk, Gmail, Youtube, Picasa, Android market, and Google Maps. The phone support 2G network and operates at frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and 3G network for HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz. The new MediaPad will give more extra features than any other tablets. This device also provides Accelerometer sensors, Multi format Music and Video player. It is available in black color.
