HP multifunction mobile printer is all-in-one printer

Generally, Printers not draw crowds or spark much excitement as modern printers already carryout triple duties: printing, scanning and copying. However, HP’s newest all-in-one printer named Officejet 150 is quite different. Officejet 150 is portable and at the same time offers a printer, scanner and copier. This multifunction mobile printer is targeted at mobile professionals (contractors, travelling salesmen or insurance agents), who want mobile printers while on the go. The weight of the printer is only 3.1kg (with battery), so users can carry them just like laptops. The Officejet 150 will hit the market in mid-June with a price tag of €399.

The Officejet 150 is the first mobile all-in-one printer in the world that lets the users to print, copy and scan documents on the move. It comes with 2.36-inch color touchscreen to manage tasks easily and is powered by lithium-ion battery. It uses standard cartridges, so printing cost is quite reasonable: $0.12 per color page and $0.05 per non-color page. In one minute, the printer can print 22 black-and-white pages and 18 color pages. While using HP software, the print resolution of the printer for black-and-white and color is 600 x 600 dpi and 4800 x 1200 dpi respectively.

It measures 350 x 171 x 90 mm and has a 50-page feeder. The printer can print 500 pages in a single charge. It features Bluetooth 2.0 along with EDR, which allow the users to print directly from notebooks and smartphones. It is also equipped with other connectivity options such as a PictBridge port, USB 2.0 port and SD card slot. At present, the printer is compatible with Blackberry and Windows mobile devices. It does not support the Apple iPad or iPhone. Users can also buy a carrying case for the printer for $90. The printer is even compatible with HP notebook power adapters.
