The heavily rumored Google’s Nexus 7 tablet is fully set to be revealed at Google I/O this month. The specifications of this latest Google tablet have been leaked on the web recently which shows that Google Nexus 7 is an ASUS brand Tablet. It will come with 7-inch IPS display touch screen with 178-degree viewing angle and delivers resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The most notable feature of this tablet is its operating system because it is expected to run on Google’s upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Nexus 7 is the cheapest tablet of Google that will be launched with the price tag of $200.
The leaked specifications confirm that it will come with a small number of features to keep the cost down. As per the leaked specifications, the upcoming Google’s tablet will come with little but most notable features which make it more attractive. The Nexus 7 will be powered by Nvidia’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating system. It is not packed with rear-facing camera for photo shoot, but has a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. It supports only Wi-Fi network for connectivity.
Google Nexus 7 will also come with 1GB of RAM, a GeForce 12-core GPU and NFC with Android Beam and Google Wallet. It will be available in two models; 8GB and 16GB. The prices of both models are varied as per their storage capacity. The 8GB model will be available at the price of $200, while 16GB will be offered at the price of $250. The battery life of Google Nexus 7 is also good; it will run up to 9 hours with single charge. It does not support MicroSD slot for extra storage. It will become the strong competitor of Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet and Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
