Dell XPS 14z Laptop: India gets price tag of Rs. 66,990

A new aesthetically wonderful ultra compact laptop, Dell XPS 14z has been unveiled in India. This one of the slimmest laptop comes with 2.3cm thickness and it possess 14” ultra compact screen which is a pleasure for the eyes. According to Dell, XPS 14z is one of the most ultra thin designed laptop with discrete GPU and an optical drive. It will be available in India at the price tag of Rs. 66,990. This stylish laptop is featured with a processor option of second generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 dual core processors.

This laptop sports a 14” wide HD WLED True-Life screen with 1366x768 pixels resolution, and spill and backlit-resistant chiclet-style keyboard. The Dell XPS 14z comes with Nvidia Optimus graphics switching technology, Nvidia GeForce GT520M with 1GB video memory, DVD writer, Intel Wi-Di (Wireless Display), Bluetooth 3.0 wireless connectivity and integrated Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 for Wi-Fi 802.11 A/G/N. This chic laptop comes with dual channel 4 GB DDR 3 RAM expandable up to 8GB DDR3 and 500GB HDD @ 7200RPM (up to 750GB). It sports an 8 cell battery that can deliver battery life up to 6 hours and 42 minutes when fully charged.

Dell XPS 14z also comes with an integrated 1.3MP HD webcam, stereo speakers, dual array digital microphones, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4, Mini Display-Port slots and RJ-45. Dimension wise the base model measures 33.5cm width, 23.4cm depth and 2.3cm height, and it weighs 1.98 kg. Dell XPS 14z also features Dell Stage software for rapid access to laptop’s multimedia content. It also possesses SyncUP powered by Nero onboard for trouble-free synchronization with other Stage-enabled PCs of Dell.
