BlackBerry PlayBook 2 and 10-inch tablet coming, rumor says

RIM is going to expand its tablet range in 2012 by releasing 2 new next-generation BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, as per N4BB reports. It will launch PlayBook 2 (7-inch version) in April and 10-inch tablet in December. The company had unveiled 1st generation PlayBook in 2011, which got poor response. Both tablets will run on the much-awaited Operating System update, PlayBook OS 2.0 and have front-facing cameras.

The 7-inch version will be 3G enabled while 10-inch tablet will include 4G LTE. The low and high-end markets will be targeted by these tablets. The 7-inch version is going to be a great competitor of Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet. No details have been released about specs and exact launch date of 7 and 10 inch PlayBooks. The first BlackBerry 10 handsets are expected to launch in September, 2012.
