Amazon Kindle Fire tablet available at price $199

Amazon, one of the world’s largest online retailers introduced its new tablet “Kindle Fire”. The Kindle Fire has 7-inch touch screen display, Gorilla Glass coating, Wi-Fi, 1GHz TI OMAP dual-core CPU, 512MB of RAM, 8GB internal memory, new browser called Amazon Silk, free data storage over the internet, and EC2 for speed loading of websites. The price of Amazon Kindle Fire is only $199 (£128), less than half the price of the cheapest iPad obtainable. The pre-orders are available now while the company will begin shipping the Kindle Fire on November 15.

It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Amazon Kindle Fire includes Gmail Honeycomb app. Tablet provides Music player and e-books facilities. Amazon Kindle Fire doesn’t provide camera, microphone, and video chat facilities and also does not have 3G connectivity or GPS functionality. It weighs 14.6 ounces. The tablet gives 30 day trial of Amazon Prime where you can subscribe or buy books, music or movies free of cost after that they will charge for the same.
