Recently, a 15-year-old by the name Mathew Robinson wrote an article named “How teens consume media”, which got published by Morgan Stanly. The article talks about the new media and how teens are changing, and is pretty accurate. The key points of the article are:
Now, we must keep in mind this article is written from experience- not research, and thus, differs from region to region. However, the following should be universally applied: teenagers do not use twitter. Most have signed up to the service, but then just leave it as they release that they are not going to update it (mostly because texting twitter uses up credit, and they would rather text friends with that credit). All jokes aside, it is surprising to think that Companies as big as Morgan Stanley to care about kids’ remarks. I wish more companies will actually hear remarks coming from us. After all, most of us are IT savvy. |
