A wait for the world premiere of the third generation Viper is nearly ended. Before that Chrysler’s SRT brand has released its fourth and final teaser of its 2013 Viper. The first look of the car’s overall shape has been revealed. The official unveiling of the SRT Viper will be held on April 4, 2012 at the 2012 New York Auto Show. This latest preview shows the Viper bathed in shadows, yet, it gives a basic idea of what to expect when the car gets completely unveiled. From the photo, it seems that the Viper may come with a far more sculpted body as compared to the last version of the car. The car also seems to have a double bubble roof with sweet looking shoulders. The Viper’s proportions are expected to remain mostly unchanged; however, its rear end is more angulaoto, it seems that the Viper may come with a far more sculpted body as compared to the last version of the car. As predicted by previous reports, it features a high sculpted hood fitted along with a central air scoop and two big air vents. The SRT Viper is expected to boast an 8.7 liter V10 engine that may send over 600 horsepower (450 kW / 608 PS) and 560 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque to the rear wheels. Chrysler is re-opening its Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit to build the new Viper. The company has offered jobs to all the 150 workers.
