Pricing for the new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu has been officially announced by General Motors. The new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will be available in Eco trim level models such as LS, LT, and LTZ. The starting price for the base LS model is $23,910 including a $760 destination fee. The base LS Malibu will feature a 2.5-liter direct-injection four-cylinder engine rated at 197 horsepower. It is expected that the sedan will have the standard six-speed automatic transmission so it will be most fuel-efficient car from previous model. The price of LT trim level model is $25,525, and the top trim level LTZ is $31,005. Trim level LTZ will contain the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine rated at 270 horsepower. These all models will be available with front-wheel drive but they do not feature all-wheel drive. The 2013 Malibu LS model will have 10 standard airbags, Bluetooth, steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, and aluminum wheels. Its some models will contain a forward collision alert system and lane departure warning. Fuel economy has not been announced yet. LT and LTZ trims will be featured with a 7-inch touch-screen and Chevy's MyLink multimedia system that contains a standard USB port in the center console and Bluetooth streaming audio. The LT and LTZ trims will also include larger aluminum wheels and carpeted floormats. The LTZ trim will also contain automatic climate control, leather upholstery, color LCD screen in the instrument cluster, heated front seats, fog lights, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a driver-side one-touch up/down power window. It will come with safety features such as lane departure warning, as well as luxury features like a passive entry system, push-button start, and high-intensity-discharge headlights. The LT and LTZ models will include a backup camera. All other trims will get a driver-side one-touch (down only) power window. The all-new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu midsize sedan will go on sale later this summer. |
