Tiger Woods repeats at Bay Hill

Golf fans had waited nearly 91/2 months for Tiger Woods to enter the final round of a golf tournament in contention. When that moment finally arrived Sunday at Bay Hill, he delivered in characteristic fashion.

Woods sank a 16-foot birdie putt on the final hole of regulation to edge Sean O'Hair, win the Arnold Palmer Invitational for the sixth time and match the largest final-round comeback of his career.

When the ball fell into the cup just before dark, Woods unleashed an emphatic fist pump and hugged his caddie, Steve Williams. The gallery surrounding the 18th green let out a roar loud enough to be heard several hundred yards away.

Tiger Is Back!

I was at the 2000 AT&T Pebble Beach Tournament, so I knew that Tiger had come back from 5 strokes behind before, but I did not expect him to do what he did on Sunday. I think people might enjoy this list, since Tiger and Arnold Palmer are both on it. I'm not sure if Byron Nelson’s record of 18 single season wins will ever be broken.
