Tiger Woods isn't going to win the CA Championship at Doral. He's nine shots behind going into the final round. But Saturday's 68 was his best post-surgical round by far. There are some old feelings stirring inside the world's No. 1 golfer. "I hit it great today. I hit it the best I've hit it in a long time. Granted, I haven't played in a long time, but still," he said. At least the familiar smile was back - after a round. "I have not controlled the golf ball that well in a very long time and that was fun," Woods said. "I was hitting shots that I had not been able to hit before, which was a great feeling. I'm just not making any putts." |
