This past week on Monday Night Raw on August 31st, the guest host for the night was the legendary "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, the father of Goldust and Cody Rhodes. If anyone knows the career of Dusty, they would know he only did one heel turn, and that was in World Championship Wrestling when he turned on WCW and joined the New World Order as a manager role. Why is this such big thing? I wish the WWE creative would actually keep Dusty Rhodes around to keep this going. Dusty lived up to his “mimicker” given to him by Ric Flair in the 1980’s of being “Dirty Dusty Rhodes,” and finally turning heel with one of his sons and his buddies. If I was one of the writers for Mr. McMahon, I would keep Dusty around to help break off Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, with the help of DiBiase’s father, the “Million Dollar Man,” and help their sons become faces and go against Randy Orton. |
