UFC Kimo Leopoldo Found Dead Rumors

“Former UFC star "Kimo" Leopoldo had died at the age of 41 from complications of heart attack” according to several unconfirmed Internet reports. But the news is wrong because he is still alive.

Leopoldo told Yahoo “I knew I wasn’t dead.” Sports in a phone interview on Tuesday evening after hours he was wrongly reported dead by various media outlets. “So when I was reading this I wondered if I was jinxed or something was going to happen.”

After that 41 year old Leopoldo even appeared at the Orange County Sheriff’s office in Santa Ana, Calif., late Tuesday afternoon for put an end to rumors of his death that spread rapidly across the Internet.

Leopoldo Said “It was very strange, I think it was good. ... I have always had strange things written about me, but none this bizarre but nothing this bizarre. I could not believe it when I searched for my name and I typed "Kimo Leopoldo", and add the word "death."

First this rumor of Leopoldo’s death was aired on MMA.tv’s popular forum, “The Underground.” The Post reported that Leopoldo died in Costa Rica “of complications from a heart attack.”

15 year ago he made his MMA debut at UFC 3 and became the first man to really challenge the apparently unbeatable Royce Gracie. He last fought in October 2006, when he suffered a first-round TKO loss to Wes Sims at an Extreme Wars show.
