Lyoto was predictable laid back to wait out violence by Evans. The first 80 seconds started with Rashad scents first strike, a short kick missed by at least a foot. The half of the first round Rashad misses long on a right hand lead. Machida drops Evans with a left to the chin. Evans stands and Machida kicks at the legs and moves away from a Rashad right hook.

In the 2 round Machida clinches as Evans shifts promote and closely gets a trip. Evans uses the cage with his back to support on his feet. Machida removes the Clinch and barely avoids a right uppercut from the champion. The second round was so excited. Because both fighter fight by their foot. Evans lands a kick to the body. Machida rocks Evans with an instantly left hand. Machida swarps with punches and Evans can’t get back to his feet. Evans is getting teed off on and he gets to his feet. That’s why Evans was out from this match and Machida became a winner. Machida deserves the shot, so I am happy he is getting it.
