Pro Wrestling Surprises Never Deliver

Bob Barker wasn’t the only news on WWE RAW last night. WWE superstar Batista will be returning to WWE RAW next week. Batista is scheduled to make a career altering announcement. Speculation is running rampant from a WWE WrestleMania challenge to retirement. My guess is that we are all setting ourselves up for a big pro wrestling disappointment.

I can’t remember the last time a pro wrestling surprise delivered. Every time TNA Wrestling or the WWE teases a surprise, the fans start going nuts. Names like Goldberg, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, N.W.O., The Rock, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin start getting thrown around.
