LMH announces the acquisition by its division of Moet Hennessy champagne house Montaudon, based in Reims in 1891 to increase in wines and spirits luxe.Jusqu here independent Montaudon achieved in 2007 a turnover of around 27 million euros for some thirty employees. His vineyard is 45 hectares.Le world number one luxury specifies that the transaction, whose amount is not communicated, can supplement its range of champagnes with Dom Perignon, Moet Chandon, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Krug, Ruinart and Mercier.
The acquisition of Montaudon corresponds to the strategy being developed by Moet Hennessy to strengthen its global leadership in wines and spirits luxury,says Christophe Navarre, President of Moet Hennessy.
